Massachusetts Attorney Kevin Reddington is currently living la vida viral because of his defense of Lindsay Clancy, the woman charged with first-degree murder for the strangulation killings of her three small children, a case that recently ended in a 11-1 mistrial leaning to acquittal on the grounds of insanity. 

Reddington is also currently a target of a multi-count complaint filed with the Board of Bar Overseers—the Massachusetts Bar that governs lawyer conduct. 

Less well known, however, is that Reddington has a long history of representing women’s clients and defending them against criminal charges on the grounds that they were, in one way or another, mentally unsound.  

One of these cases early in his career involved a woman who killed her boyfriend in his sleep by driving knives into his eyes. 

Another involved the long-term girlfriend of infamous Boston gangster Whitey Bulger.
