Episode Details

Today is actually the last day of this SteemHop season and I won't even lie I'm kinda disappointed because I was so close to getting that 1 Steem reward, like I was right there man, I checked my score last night and I needed just a few more taps to cross the line but I just couldn't keep the momentum this morning, my hand was shaking a little and I kept missing the easy hops, so yeah I missed it again. But at least this season I improved a lot compared to last season, last time I didn't even get close to 0.5 Steem, this time I was fighting for 1 full Steem so that shows I'm growing, hopefully next season I finally get it.
I played a lot today trying to chase it, woke up early around 6am and started hopping, I was grinding for like two hours straight without stopping, my eyes were even paining me but I kept going because I really wanted that 1 Steem, I got to like 89, 91, 92 then I dropped again to 85, it was so frustrating, the game was just trolling me. My friends on Discord were telling me to take a break and come back but I didn't want to stop, I thought if I stop now I will lose my rhythm, so I kept pushing till my phone started lagging from heat.
Honestly SteemHop is not as easy as people think, it looks simple just tapping and jumping but to stay consistent at the top you need serious focus, one small mistake and you are back to zero, that's what happened to me today a lot, I would be at 90+ and then one wrong timing and boom game over. But I still love the game, it keeps me busy and the community is nice, seeing other people post their high scores motivates me to do better, this season I learnt to stay more calm and not rush my taps.
So yeah season ends today and I didn't get the 1 Steem but I'm not giving up, next season I'm coming back stronger, I will practice more and maybe change my tapping style a little, I think I rush too much when I'm close to my high score. Hopefully next season I finally get rewarded with that 1 Steem and maybe even more, we move regardless, gg to everyone who made it and congrats to all the winners this season.
