De: Der Nebel hing schwer über dem Sumpf und die Luft roch nach feuchter Erde.
En: The fog hung heavily over the swamp, and the air smelled of damp earth.

En: It was autumn, and the annual mushroom gathering had begun.
De: Klaus, Greta und Hans standen am Rand des Nebelsumpfes.
En: Klaus, Greta, and Hans stood at the edge of the foggy swamp.
De: Jedes Jahr war es ein Abenteuer, aber dieses Jahr war etwas anders.
