From Prison Greens to Boxing Gloves | Perth News
Description
Struan Morrison, once locked up in Hakea Prison and nearly blind from staring at the sun, walked out with prison greens—now a symbol of his descent into psychosis, isolation, and chaos. Today, homeless and unable to drive, he’s rebuilding his life in a boxing gym, training four days a week to fight his demons—not opponents, but his own mind. He refused to sell the infamous green jumpsuit, calling it a “journey to hell,” and now keeps it with family as a reminder of survival. His story is one of resilience, madness, and the quiet power of returning to the ring.
