A Reflection For When We’re Silently Struggling

Sometimes we find ourselves struggling with something, and we don’t say anything.

The psalmist reminds us that God is “good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you.”

— from Psalm 86:5

We don’t need to let pride get in the way, nor do we need to allow shame to silence us.

When we reach out, God hears us and meets us with steadfast love.

Being made in God’s image, we too should respond to ourselves and each other in love.
