Meeting Jesus on the Way to Calvary, when Mary encounters her son carrying the cross. The Crucifixion, when Mary stands faithfully at the foot of the cross. Taking Down from the Cross, when Jesus' body is removed and placed in her arms; and finally The Burial of Jesus: When her dead son is laid in the tomb.
