Teens charged after attacking Perth Zoo crocodile
Published 2 weeks, 6 days ago
Description
Two teenage boys, aged 16 and 17, allegedly broke into Perth Zoo's crocodile enclosure after dark, cutting through locks to gain access. The pair are accused of attacking Dangalabba, a 45-year-old, 400-kilogram crocodile, by throwing bottles, banging on walls to aggravate the animal, and striking it with a metal pole. Both teens have been charged with criminal damage, trespass and animal cruelty, while the zoo has launched a full security review following the breach.
