Feeding Every Child in NC | Wilmington News
Description
Join the School Meals for All NC coalition for a powerful town hall in Morehead City next Tuesday, September 15th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Carteret Community College. They’re rallying for free breakfast and lunch for every public school student in North Carolina — because no child should go hungry during the school day. With 28% of food-insecure kids falling through the cracks of current programs, this event brings together educators, nutritionists, and families to spotlight the crisis and push for real change. Attend in person (dinner provided!) or join virtually via Zoom — your voice matters in building a healthier, more equitable future for North Carolina’s children.
