In the same week, police raided the Minneapolis home her 20-year-old son shares with a roommate and found weapons and ammunition belonging to that roommate, a convicted felon barred from possessing them. A Fox Digital reporter asked Omar about it on camera and got no answer.

The Homeland Security secretary, speaking to Benny Johnson at the party convention in Dallas, said of Omar: "We know that she married her brother to try to bring him in the United States," and called it an ongoing investigation.
