Colin Kaepernick sat down with Jemele Hill to promote his upcoming book, The Perilous Fight, and for the first time publicly, we see Colin exposing Jay-Z in 4K.

We all know Colin’s grievances with the NFL, but it seems to me like those grievances have taken a backseat and his focus is now on Jay-Z.

Colin says Jay-Z is clearly bothered by his decision to do a deal with the NFL. He emphasizes that Jay-Z “sold us out,” making it clear that he isn’t just talking about himself. He’s talking about the people.

Colin also addresses Jay-Z’s infamous “we’ve moved past kneeling” comments and paints a picture of Jay-Z being excited and first in line to take a check from the NFL when the league was looking for a Black face to help combat the NFL boycott.

And the timing couldn’t be more interesting.

The same day Colin Kaepernick said all of this onstage, Jay-Z was in New York City promoting his upcoming eight-part HBO documentary series focusing on his life and career.

But the question remains: Can Colin Kaepernick build a strong enough campaign to actually damage Jay-Z, or is Jay-Z not even bothered the way Colin claims he is?
