Saturday the 26th September will see one of the most colourful and exciting events of the year as the Colour Run returns for another unforgettable day of fun, fitness, and community spirit to celebrate. 

Whether you run, jog, walk, roll or wheel your way around the course, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Along the route, participants will be showered in vibrant colours, creating a fantastic atmosphere full of energy, laughter, and memories.

This year, there is an exciting development with an Inclusive Colour Run also being held on the evening.

This is designed to ensure that people of all abilities can take part in the fun and experience the excitement of the day in a welcoming and accessible environment.

Active Cities Officer Declan Burke spoke to John Mulligan about the Colour Run on Sunday Sport and also called on clubs to register their events for European Week of Sport.
