Episode Details

Minnesota Twins face a critical offseason decision: should Byron Buxton remain the face of the franchise despite another injury-plagued second half? CJ Baumgartner argues that Buxton’s talent and affordable contract still make him an invaluable asset, even as questions swirl around his health and trade value. With the team’s offense struggling in Buxton’s absence, are the Twins really better off moving on, or is patience the best play?

The spotlight also turns to the Twins’ youth movement as Walker Jenkins, Emmanuel Rodriguez, and Calen Culpepper get their shot in the lineup. CJ breaks down the “Stock Up, Stock Down” report, featuring Jeff Hoffman’s bullpen impact and Joe Ryan’s troubling second-half stats. The episode wraps with a minor league update—does former first-rounder Aaron Sabato deserve a big-league look, or has his window in Minnesota quietly closed? Don’t miss this comprehensive look at the Twins present uncertainty and future promise.
