Three Pleaded Guilty in Ipswich Shooting | Perth News
Description
A deadly July 2021 street brawl in Ipswich, sparked by a property dispute and involving nine men armed with bats and a firearm, ended in the death of 31-year-old Carlo Piero Stewart from two gunshot wounds. Three accused—Tye Joshua Bickle, Brayden Alan Wilson-Knight, and a then-16-year-old—instead of facing murder charges, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and two counts of grievous bodily harm. Four others were hospitalized, including one with severe head injuries. The judge noted the lengthy delay and potential use of it as defense, acknowledging it will influence sentencing. Sentencing is set for September 25th, with bail continued.
