Polly the Dog Saved Her Owner's Life | Perth News
Description
A golden retriever named Polly didn’t just save her owner’s life—she literally called for help when her husband went into cardiac arrest. Five years ago, Polly bonded deeply with Adam, always by his side during morning runs. One night in March 2024, she barked frantically, alerting his wife to his silent emergency. Thanks to Polly’s early warning, CPR was started immediately and Adam survived, spending three weeks in ICU. Polly’s intuition and bravery earned her a prestigious Heart Hero award—and she’s still the beloved, lovable family member who now enjoys gentle walks with her recovering human.
