Guest Information — Mic Skinta Mic Skinta enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1995 and spent nearly three decades in the scout sniper community — sniper team leader, platoon sergeant, platoon commander, and instructor at Scout Sniper Instructor School and Scout Sniper School Kaneohe Bay — before being selected for the Marine Gunner Program and commissioning as an Infantry Weapons Officer. He deployed in support of Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and Inherent Resolve (Iraq, Syria, Jordan, and Kuwait), closing out his career as Regimental Gunner at School of Infantry West before retiring in 2022.
