Who is Madelaine Hunt?
Madeleine Hunt is the General Secretary of the Heritage Party and an advocate for democratic accountability, individual liberty and community-led governance.
Having grown up in Poland under communism, Madeleine draws on her personal experience when examining changes taking place within British government and public institutions. Her work focuses particularly on local government, devolution, planning, democratic accountability and the transfer of decision-making power away from local communities.
She has been actively challenging aspects of Local Government Reorganisation and encouraging residents to understand the changes, question their councils and take a more active role in local democracy.
