- 睡眠卡 shuìmiánkǎ — a bank card that has not been used for a long time
- 门槛 ménkǎn — how difficult it is to qualify for or access something
- 贷款 dàikuǎn — money borrowed from a bank or financial company
- 审核 shěnhé — to review and approve an application
- 借贷 jièdài — borrowing and lending money
- 先用后付 xiān yòng hòu fù — get or use something now and pay later
- 分期 fēnqī — pay for something in several smaller payments over time
- 提前消费 tíqián xiāofèi — spend money now before you have fully earned or saved it
- 大件儿 dàjiànr — an expensive or relatively large purchase
- 负担 fùdān — something that creates financial or other pressure
- 周转 zhōuzhuǎn — use money temporarily to cover short-term expenses
- 手头紧 shǒutóu jǐn — not have much money available right now
- 拆东墙补西墙 chāi dōng qiáng bǔ xī qiáng — borrow or take money from one place to cover what you owe somewhere else
- 债务 zhàiwù — money that you owe
- 量入为出 liàng rù wéi chū — spend according to how much money you earn
