The Abbott And Costello Show - "Lou Builds Ahouse" (Old Time Radio, 1947)

Description
The Abbott And Costello Show presents “Lou Builds Ahouse,” originally broadcast April 24, 1947. In this NBC Camel program, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello tackle the postwar dream of owning a suburban home.

Bud encourages Lou to trade his ramshackle living arrangements for a house of his own, but financing, building lots, contractors, and construction costs quickly provide fertile ground for confusion. Skinnay Ennis and Marilyn Maxwell supply musical interludes, including “Ivy” and “When Am I Gonna Kiss You Good Morning.”

The Abbott And Costello Show presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
