Episode Details

Houston Cougars look to capitalize on their dominant run defense as they gear up for a Friday night showdown against Texas Tech. Can Parker Ainsworth’s squad stop a Red Raiders offense struggling to produce big gains on the ground? Early signs point to Khalil Laufau and Jaydn Yates being difference makers in the box, with Houston’s stingy front aiming to keep Texas Tech’s rushing game in check and force them to win through the air.

Parker Ainsworth spotlights Houston's favorable matchup, the impact of a short week for both teams, and what Amari Thomas might do against a vulnerable Texas Tech secondary. The episode also recaps a wild Saturday around the Big 12, including Oklahoma State’s upset of Oregon and Utah’s dominant performance. As the Cougars eye a critical conference victory, Ainsworth explores the strategies and key players who could shape Houston’s Big 12 destiny this week.
