Daniel Billings has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for the murder of his ex-partner Molly Ticehurst in Forbes, NSW. The 28-year-old childcare worker and mother was stabbed 15 times in under a minute during a frenzied attack at her home in April 2024. Justice Natalie Adams handed down the sentence with a 20-year non-parole period, meaning Billings will be eligible for parole in April 2044.
