Bradley Sowell spent years pushing back against Ole Miss fans who treated Lane Kiffin as indispensable.
He isn’t changing his position now just because Kiffin coaches LSU.
If anything, the former Ole Miss offensive lineman and eight-year NFL veteran believes the first week of the 2026 season reinforced his larger point: Ole Miss has become bigger than any one head coach.
And constantly comparing Pete Golding’s Rebels to Kiffin’s Tigers isn’t doing anybody much good.
“We’ve got to, as a fan base, move on,” Sowell said. “People are trying to compare too much what LSU is doing. And that’s just not it.”
