Description
What if the dream you’ve been chasing… was never really yours?
In this powerful conversation, Elisabeth Carson sits down with Kute Blackson for a deep exploration of purpose, identity, authenticity, success, and what it really means to create a life that feels true to you.
We’re often taught to chase certain things—success, money, recognition, status, relationships—but what happens when you finally get what you thought you wanted and still feel like something is missing?
Kute challenges us to look beyond the goals we’ve inherited from society, family, and expectations, and to ask a much deeper question:
“What do I actually want?”
In this episode, Elisabeth and Kute explore:
Why you may be chasing the wrong dream
How to tell the difference between your true desires and outside expectations
Why success doesn't always equal fulfillment
The pressure to become who the world expects you to be
Letting go of fear, conditioning, and limiting beliefs
What it really means to live authentically
Finding purpose beyond money and achievement
Why surrender can sometimes be more powerful than control
How to reconnect with what truly matters to you
Creating a life that feels aligned—not just impressive
Sometimes the biggest breakthrough isn't figuring out how to get what you want.
It's realizing you were chasing the wrong thing all along.
Watch until the end and ask yourself:
Is this actually MY dream?
