Hired to Kill Young Suspect Arrested | Perth News
Description
Another shooting rocks the city, this time linked to organized crime — a 37-year-old victim survives bullet wounds to his hand and torso, while police arrest a 20-year-old suspect at a train station who allegedly carried out the hit for pay. Found with cocaine, a Glock, and ammo, the suspect faces attempted murder charges and is already in court, with bail set until November. Detectives are sounding alarms over a troubling trend: young people being hired as “hitmen” for gang bosses, turning violent crimes into a “crime as a service.” The victim’s cooperation and past minor offenses hint at a growing pattern — and cops are on high alert, scrambling to stop more attacks before they happen.
