Episode 1218 Published 3 weeks, 3 days ago
Description
Johnstown Concert Ballet has been serving the Johnstown area with almost 60 years of exceptional ballet training and inspiring performances. Founded by the late Carla Prucnal and now under the direction of Eden Mishler Ihrig, Johnstown Concert Ballet has become a cornerstone of the local arts community - committed to nurturing dancers of all ages in a supportive, professional, and enriching environment where creativity, confidence, and discipline flourish. WQED-FM's Bryan Sejvar spoke with Eden about the company; moving into a brand new space this year; their two big productions each year of The Nutcracker in December and a classical ballet in the spring. Eden also talks about her journey through dance and how she was a student at the Johnstown Concert Ballet when she was a kid and is thrilled to come back to Johnstown to be it's Director.
