NFL Pushes Flag Football to Aussie Schools | Perth News
Description
The NFL is dropping nearly $2 million to equip 10,000 Australian schools with flag football gear—flags, belts, and balls—for just $200 per kit, kicking off in Queensland and Victoria before expanding nationwide. Designed like touch rugby, flag football lets kids play without tackling, making it perfect for youth engagement. With nearly 600 schools already onboard, the league’s goal? Spark a love for the game early so kids grow up cheering for the NFL, buying merch, and tuning into games—not just playing flag football.
