Pavel Tomancak (EMBL Predoctoral Fellow, 1995-1999) speaks with Thomas Vaccari (EMBL Predoctoral fellow, 1999-2004) about being the first Eastern European PhD student at EMBL, the 'golden days' of developmental biology and his passion about supporting life sciences in his home country.
