Four of the female jurors of the Lindsay Clancy trial have no given interviews to news media, and what they have to say makes the whole injustice of the mistrial that failed to hold accountable this mother who strangled her three little children to death even worse.
Three of the women were interviewed together, and I’m going to go ahead and just label them the middle-aged menopausal box-o-wine gang. They speak with utter frankness about how they engaged with the trial evidence and arguments almost entirely through a lens of emotion, focusing on irrelevant and erroneous facts—and even engaged in improper jury deliberations by presenting themselves to fellow jurors as experts who were not qualified as such by this court.
