Episode Details

This week we trace our second thread through Scripture: the Exodus. We walk through the familiar account - slavery in Egypt, the ten plagues, the Passover lamb and the blood on the doorpost, the parting of the sea - and then step back to notice the same pattern already showing up in Abraham's and Jacob's earlier stories, revealing it was written into Scripture with intention from the start.

We unpack what the Passover teaches about grace coming before obedience, God rescuing a people for relationship with Himself, and the exile that later comes as a promise of a coming new exodus. That promise lands in Jesus, the greater Moses, who succeeds everywhere Israel failed and becomes our true Passover Lamb, freeing us from a greater bondage than Egypt ever was.

This is Week 4 of Threads at FBC Boerne.
