Episode Details

In Office Hours this week, Pastor Amos discussed platform experiments and theological questions with community members. Pastor Amos shared his testing of Mighty Network's AI chat feature for email distribution and questioned whether the platform helps or hurts CFE's mission of creating a global community. The discussion then shifted to a theological debate about Jesus's experience in hell, with participants expressing different views on whether Jesus experienced torment or went there victorious. Several members, including Stephanie and Rowena, expressed frustration with theological disagreements and questioned the importance of detailed doctrinal debates. Deborah shared her concerns about the dilution of Christian holiness in modern teaching and suggested focusing more on practical business applications of scripture within the community. The conversation ended with personal updates, including a prayer request from Vernon and his wife about their niece's pregnancy and potential clubfoot condition, and Pastor Amos reminded the community about the importance of partnership support for the ministry.
