Published 3 weeks, 1 day ago
Description
Norway's late King Harald V was laid to rest in Oslo Cathedral in a grand royal funeral attended by European royals, heads of state, and thousands of Norwegian citizens. The ceremony saw his successor, King Haakon VIII, march behind the coffin, with attendees including the Prince of Wales, Princess Anne, and Queen Mary of Denmark. Following the burial, flags were raised to full height, ending the 13-day mourning period and marking the beginning of a new era for Norway's monarchy.
