The Whole Thing Was Melted

Episode 1287 Published 13 hours ago
Description

The Dudes open the show on the one-year anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s assassination at Utah Valley University — the “Freedom Built to Last” memorial, campus shutdown, protests and lookalike stunts — and that conversation opens a wider lane into the Oklahoma City bombing, official stories and what anniversaries do to a country’s memory.

Later, the fellas dissect the fights around the 25th anniversary 9/11 memorial services: Ground Zero politics, families petitioning to keep NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani off the ceremony, Trump marking the day at the Pentagon instead of Lower Manhattan, and who gets to stand at the reflecting pools. Then they break down the real death toll 25 years on — the 2,977 murdered that morning, the 343 FDNY firefighters lost when the Twin Towers came down and the first responders still dying from World Trade Center illnesses at a rate that has now passed the original FDNY loss. Nearly 10,000 people have died from 9/11-related disease; thousands more live with certified cancers.

The guys close the show on the directed-energy-weapon theory that the towers were “dustified”, boots-on-the-ground firefighter testimony from the pile and Lee Cronin’s 2026 Blumhouse/Atomic Monster The Mummy — a mummy movie that somehow forgot to include mummies.
