Episode Details

A Perth woman thought she scored a luxury Bali New Year’s Eve spot for $1,650—only to discover it was actually $10,650 after paying over the phone and missing the bill. Thinking leftover drinks were part of the deal, she handed out bottles to strangers and even told the waitress to keep the rest as a tip—turning what should’ve been a night of celebration into a $7,000 gift to strangers. The viral mess-up? She messed up currency conversion, friends covered their shares, and now she’s paying interest on a mistake that made headlines.
