PSPP says he would dismantle Sante Quebec. How easy would that be?
Published 1 week, 2 days ago
Description
Santé Québec was created less than two years ago as part of a massive overhaul of Quebec’s health-care system. But now, if the Parti Québécois wins the October 5th election, Paul St-Pierre Plamondon says he wants to dismantle it and redirect money toward frontline care. Montreal Gazette investigative reporter Aaron Derfel finds some of those claims don’t stand up to scrutiny, and that dismantling Santé Québec could be far more complicated and costly than the PQ suggests. He spoke to Andrew Carter.
