Af: Die son het stadig oor die Kgalagadi-woestyn opgevlam, 'n groot see van verbrande aarde en geel gras onder die helder, blou hemel.
En: The sun slowly blazed over the Kgalagadi-desert, a vast sea of scorched earth and yellow grass under the bright, blue sky.
Af: Hier, tussen die sandduine en droë bossies, was Anika en Pieter besig met hulle navorsing.
En: Here, between the sand dunes and dry bushes, Anika and Pieter were busy with their research.
Af: Anika was vol entoesiasme oor die dag wat voorlê.
