Episode Details

Houston Cougars start their season strong with a hard-fought 33-20 win over Oregon State, powered by Amare Thomas’s explosive 133-yard, 1-touchdown performance. Is Thomas emerging as one of the Big 12’s premier receivers? Host Parker Ainsworth unpacks the Cougars’ revamped offense under Willie Fritz, spotlighting Makhi Hughes and Re'shaun Sanford’s impact in the backfield, Conner Weigman’s vertical passing attack, and how the offensive line’s pre-snap penalties could shape future games.

Defensively, the Cougars flashed promise with JaVion White’s standout play and a dominant run defense, but questions linger over pass coverage and late-game fatigue. Can Houston patch up their middle-of-the-field vulnerabilities before a tough matchup with Texas Tech? Parker Ainsworth breaks down key takeaways, injury updates, and what’s next for a team aiming to make program history with back-to-back 10-win seasons. Don’t miss this live postgame reaction and fan-driven analysis.
