A Reflection For When We Wonder If God Cares
Sometimes we wonder if God sees and cares about us.
Moses may have wondered this himself when God described God’s self to Moses:
The Lord passed before him and proclaimed,
“The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love (חֶסֶד, hesed) and faithfulness” - Exodus 34:6
God not only sees us but is present with us.
God abounds in steadfast love.
God is faithful to us even when we are less than faithful to God.
We are invited to trust that we are loved.
