Deborah and Martin Robinson have travelled from Perth to Ensenada, Mexico to attend the trial of three local men charged with murdering their sons Callum and Jake Robinson and American friend Carter Rhode in 2024. The three men were shot and killed during what prosecutors allege was an attempted robbery for mobile phones and truck tyres, with their bodies discovered in a remote well. The trial's first day featured testimony from witnesses now in protection who reported receiving death threats from the accused and their associates.
