Twin truck fires cause highway chaos in NSW
Published 3 weeks, 2 days ago
Description
Two truck fires caused major traffic disruptions on NSW highways within hours of each other. A vehicle burst into flames on the Princes Highway near Helensburgh in Sydney's south, forcing all lanes to close while emergency crews contained the blaze and completely destroying the truck. A separate incident saw a B-double catch fire on the Hume Highway near Yass, with flames spreading to surrounding grassland before southbound lanes could reopen.
