Elizabeth Miller was six when her father Doug Miller, an FDNY Rescue 5 firefighter, ran into the towers and never came home. In this episode, Jessica and Elizabeth, the subjects of the new CBS documentary Daughters of 9/11 — join me to talk about growing up around an empty chair, how differently they each grieve, their trips to Guantánamo Bay, and their sharply different views on what should happen to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the confessed architect of 9/11 whose trial still hasn't begun, 25 years later.
