Episode Details

This week we will teach preschoolers and kids that God seeks and celebrates us. Jesus told a story about a lost son in Luke 15. This son demanded his inheritance from his father before leaving and spending the money on foolish living. Once the money was gone, a famine devastated the land. The son found himself broke, alone, and hungry. He decided to return home and beg his father to make him like one of the servants. However, when the son was far from home, his father saw him and hurried to welcome him home. Later, Jesus told people that He came to seek and save the lost. Preschoolers and kids will learn that God seeks us when we are far from Him and celebrates when we discover a forever relationship with Him through Jesus. What an incredible demonstration of how much God values us!
