Description
Filling in for The Charlie James Show on Labor Day, Heidi Harris leads a discussion surrounding the upcoming 25th anniversary of September 11. She reflects on her personal memories of that morning, recalling the harrowing sights and sounds transmitted on television, such as the alarming PASS beeps from fallen firefighters' safety equipment. She emphasizes the vital importance of continuing to educate younger generations about the tragic events of that day. Criticizing current educational frameworks like the University of Pennsylvania's "Teaching Beyond September 11th" program for shifting focus toward social politics, she urges parents and grandparents to share personal stories and documentaries with children so the nation never forgets.
