Story Transcript:

En: In the heart of medieval Moskva, over the bustling square, stretched a vibrant dome of voices and colors.

En: Here, among the many stalls and kiosks, Anastasiya stood at her stand with herbs and potions.

En: Summer was coming to an end, a slight trace of autumn lingered in the air, bringing with it an insistent breeze.

En: Anastasiya tried not to tremble from the fever, standing still in front of her counter.

En: Her skin was burning, but she knew that if anyone found out about her illness, customers would scatter, leaving her family without a livelihood.

En: Her mind was drifting, but she held the mug of mint and tansy brew tightly in her hands.

En: Mikhailo's shop, known for rare herbs, was nearby.

En: It was said he had St. John's wort, capable of taming any illness.

En: But Anastasiya feared rumors.

En: Since childhood, she had been taught that public opinion spares no one.

En: The crowd was noisy, and her head was spinning.

En: Her strength was leaving her, and soon her legs buckled.

En: She fell behind the stand, barely noticing how people around her paused and turned.

En: In the midst of the crowd, Viktor emerged, a wanderer with a mysterious smile and kind eyes.

En: He knelt next to Anastasiya, handing her a small flask with a dark liquid.

En: "Drink this, it will help," he said softly.

En: She was desperate and accepted his help without hesitation, feeling warmth spreading through her body, replacing the feverish heat with energy.

En: Amazingly, her fever soon subsided.

En: Surprised and grateful, Anastasiya smiled broadly at Viktor.

En: "Thank you immensely.

En: Please, stay with us for the night, rest after your long journey."
