Andersen became a regular contributor to The 'X' Zone, examining earthquake and volcanic activity and looking for possible correlations between the dates, locations and magnitudes of seismic events and the cycles of the Moon. During his appearances, Andersen explored whether apparently unrelated natural events might reveal larger patterns. Could lunar gravitational forces play a role in when earthquakes or volcanic eruptions occur? Are periods of increased geological activity predictable, or are apparent patterns simply coincidence? While scientists recognize that the Moon's gravity produces measurable tidal forces on Earth, accurately predicting individual earthquakes remains beyond current science. Andersen nevertheless tracked seismic events and lunar cycles in an attempt to identify correlations he believed deserved further investigation. The conversation also moves into considerably more controversial territory as Rob and Brian examine New World Order theories, global political power, secretive organizations, government institutions and claims about forces supposedly operating behind major world events. Andersen has published material advancing sweeping conspiracy allegations involving governments, intelligence organizations, financial and religious institutions. Such claims remain disputed and should be distinguished from independently established historical evidence, but they provide plenty of material for the probing questions and spirited debate for which The 'X' Zone is known. Andersen's interests extend into one of America's most enduring mysteries—the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He authored My God, I'm Hit! and produced a 2011 documentary of the same name, presenting his own highly unconventional interpretation of the events surrounding Kennedy's assassination.
