What the Market Shows Before Big Positions Become Public | Jason Bodner

Description

Markets can look one way in the news while institutional money is moving in another direction. Large investors often build positions gradually, making their activity difficult to see while those trades are still underway. So what can money flows reveal before those positions become public?

Spotting unusual activity is one thing. Understanding what that activity actually means is harder, especially when the same market signals can point in different directions.

Jason Bodner spent years on Wall Street brokering institutional block trades, where part of the job was executing orders without letting the price run away from the buyer. He co-founded MoneyFlows to study that same activity from the outside, and he joins us to explain what he is seeing in institutional flows now.
