Growing up Patricia said she would never get married and never have children. Living in the secular world she had bought into the enemy’s lies that childbirth was scary, that children were a burden, that they would hold you back, cost a lot of money and take up all of your time. But the Lord had a plan for her life that would not be derailed. After re-committing her life to Jesus and getting plugged in at a local church with a deep, Christian community, she could hear God speaking to her through His word, and her and her boyfriend decided to get married and have children. It didn’t take long for her to land on having a home birth, a decision which the Lord would continue to confirm throughout her pregnancy. And Patricia learned that childbirth wasn’t scary at all, in fact-that was the easiest part!
