China will strengthen civility at sporting events, foster a healthier culture among fans and continue tackling toxic "fan circle" culture in sports to create a cleaner public opinion environment, Gao Zhidan, minister of the General Administration of Sport of China, said on Thursday.

国家体育总局局长高志丹表示，我国将加强赛风赛纪建设，培育健康球迷文化，持续整治体育领域不良“饭圈”文化，营造风清气正的舆论环境。

"We must make a determined effort to improve conduct across the sector and ensure that sports are filled with sunshine and positive energy," Gao said.

高志丹称：“我们必须下大力气纠治行业风气，让体育事业充满阳光与正能量。”

Gao made the remarks at a news conference held by the State Council Information Office in Beijing as part of the "Embarking on the 15th FiveYear Plan" series, outlining plans for building China into a leading sporting nation during the 202630 period.

这场发布会是国务院新闻办在北京举办的“迈向‘十五五’”系列新闻发布会之一。会上，高志丹介绍了20262030年期间建设体育强国的相关规划。

Sports are closely linked to people's health and wellbeing and are also an important part of China's broader national development, Gao said. Over the next five years, the country will promote the coordinated development of public fitness, competitive sports, youth sports, the sports industry, sports culture and sector governance.

高志丹表示，体育事关人民身心健康福祉，也是国家发展大局的重要组成部分。未来五年，我国将推动全民健身、竞技体育、青少年体育、体育产业、体育文化、行业治理协同发展。

Meanwhile, authorities will step up efforts to address unhealthy fan culture, online violence and other misconduct in sports, while strengthening integrity and governance across the sector.

与此同时，有关部门将加大力度整治不良球迷文化、网络暴力以及体育领域各类失范行为，强化体育行业作风建设与行业治理。

The General Administration of Sport will continue its campaign to tackle problems including fraud, match manipulation and violence at sporting events, while improving regulations and the sports integrity system, and advancing anticorruption efforts.

国家体育总局将持续开展专项整治，严厉打击体育赛事弄虚作假、假球黑哨、赛场暴力等问题，不断完善规章制度与体育行风建设体系，深入推进反腐败工作。
