We're sitting here on a Friday night in early September, season starts in nine days, and the biggest running back news we get is that Josh Jacobs' court date just got moved up to next Thursday. Next. Thursday. Three days before we open the season in Minnesota.
So let me get this straight. The guy who is supposed to be our workhorse is still on the Commissioner's Exempt List, still collecting a check, still not practicing, and now the legal system decided, "You know what? Let's speed this up so the Packers can feel even more anxious." Perfect. Just perfect.
