What happens when the year doesn’t look like the vision board you created?
In this episode of She Is Enough, I’m reflecting on where I am with the goals and dreams I set for myself this year—and realizing that maybe progress doesn’t always look like checking every box.
Sometimes, the plan changes. Sometimes, we pivot. Sometimes, the door we keep trying to push open simply isn’t the door God has for us.
And in those moments, it can be so easy to focus on what didn’t happen instead of recognizing everything that did.
One reminder on my vision board has become especially important: I am enough.
I have to remind myself of those words daily because when things don’t go according to plan, it’s easy to question ourselves, our progress, and even our purpose. But our worth was never dependent on how much we accomplished.
Maybe this season isn’t about forcing another door open.
Maybe it’s about giving ourselves grace, trusting the pivot, and paying attention to the doors God is already opening.
