College Football Week 1: Clemson at LSU Preview, AP Top 25 and Best Bets | The College Football Show.
Description
The College Football Show is back, and host Shane Barrett breaks down Week 1, runs through the new AP Top 25, and gives you the bets he is backing before Saturday.
Shane opens with the poll: the surprises, the risers and fallers, and the teams knocking on the door from just outside the rankings. Then it is on to his Game of the Week, Clemson at LSU, as Lane Kiffin makes his LSU debut against Dabo Swinney's Clemson in a Death Valley opener with real Playoff stakes. Christopher Vizzina takes over under center for the Tigers of Clemson against Sam Leavitt and a loaded LSU offense, and Shane has a strong lean on where the value sits.
He closes by handing out his offensive and defensive players of the week from the Week Zero slate. Shane has a side he likes in the marquee game and plenty more to get to before kickoff, so press play to get it all first.
Topics covered in this episode: the AP Top 25 review, Clemson at LSU, Lane Kiffin's LSU debut, the top storylines heading into Week 1, the Week Zero players of the week, and Shane's best bets.
