Description
During Segment 1 of Hour 4 of The Charlie James Show on Friday, September 4, 2026, host Charlie James criticizes Clemson University for what he characterizes as pervasive left-wing ideology and "taxpayer-subsidized indoctrination." Citing an article by Will Folks at FitsNews, James highlights an early childhood literacy course taught by Dr. Heather Dunham titled "Teaching Reading in the Early Grades". He expresses outrage that the course syllabus opened with a "land acknowledgment" statement drawn from the defunct "Decolonize Clemson" website rather than directly focusing on K-3 literacy content. Later in the segment, caller Joe from Rock Hill joins to discuss Fox News's legal settlement with Dominion Voting Systems and its suppression of election integrity reporting, arguing that younger leadership is shifting the network to resemble CNN.
